Why start a blog?

I have followed other people's blogs and thought I ought to have one of my own. Not sure yet what kind of things I will be writing. Because I am a preacher it could easily turn into that - but I don't want it to. I suppose it will be more of a diary or journal.

I have a friend who has kept the journey of his fight against cancer on a blog, and I have really appreciated keeping in touch with his life and turning that into prayer for him. I like the idea of people being able to pray for me in that way.

I am off sick at the moment, so don't have a great deal of concentration, so I will say bye for now.
